I like a wide variety of movies but I love a good suspense. There is nothing like a thriller when you don't know what to expect. If you want to take a wild ride then you need to see " The Hitcher". Come along on a journey with a couple out on a road trip. This movie will make you think twice about hitchhikers out on the road. Appearances can be very deceiving especially when it is not known what's going on inside their heads.
The psychotic hitchhiker in this movie is one you don't want to meet. He is a relentless killer and not to be taken lightly. Wrong place and wrong time could have a meaning for this couple. No one knows who he is or worst of all what he's after. He has his own way of making this couple face their fears. The open road becomes paved from the shed of blood throughout the movie so be sure and hang on to your seat. There is an alternate ending that is extreme and all the bonus features are a must see.
There is a lot of twisted metal along with the spill of blood. All the stunts makes the crashes look so real and with all that action comes more suspense. You just don't know who will make it to the end. By the end of the movie you just might know why the hitcher is doing the crazy things that are in his head. Tormenting this couple seems to bring this man pleasure. Is he on a personal mission that is making him do these eerie things? If you're up for a wild road trip , hop in. This thriller will make you think about who you can and cannot trust. Think twice about stopping for strangers and giving them a ride. The producers of Texas Chainsaw Massacre had their hands in this one. They really showed how scary a situation like this could be.

I think I have seen this movie. Is that one where the guy gets tied up between a big rig and a trailer and gets ripped in half? If it is the same one. that movie was wicked.
ReplyDeleteI know you are talking about the original movie the Hitcher with Wings Hauser. In some of the scenes Wings Hauser looked like the devil himself? If you saw this movie it should have stopped anybody from picking up hitchhikers. After seeing that movie I don't know if I would have picked up someone I knew. It has more twist and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. Then you still sit there and wonder. The newer version just does not have the same suspence. Sometimes newer is not better.

I love it how they kicked him out of the car, and they thought they lost him for good, then as they were driving, he just appeared out of no where, that part really had me shooked. I've never in my life picked up a hitchhiker, or never intended to. They really creep me out. I advise people to never pick a hitchhiker, because people are these days and you never know what they may have planned, the moment they enter your car.
